So what kind of a poem is this
A narrative poem is one that tells a story. It can be short or long.
It can rhyme or not rhyme.
Narrative poems don't follow too many rules, except that they must tell a story.
Yes, this will be our focus for our lesson today.
We will get to read and listen to more more narrative poems. We will complete some unfinished poems. Lastly, we will also do some comrehension exercises based on a narrative poem. We will also learn from one another through posting comments.
Why are we doing this?
I would feel very happy for you at the end of the lesson if you had :-
~ felt confident in reading and understanding narrative poems
~ become curious to discover and explore poems on your own
~ co-operated well with your friend to complete today's activities
